The new language of weight loss...
Weight loss is a fascinating science. Well, if that's what you want to call it. In reality, the entire "science" of weight itself--whether gaining or losing--is a mystery. If it weren't, some drug company would have figured it out and made a fortune on it by now. (Unless, of course, that same company already knows the secret...but is invested in Big Agribusiness, too.) Honestly, though, this is where the conspiracy theorist in me draws the line. The diet industry is just too big. (Pun intended.) And there will always be overweight people no matter what. Because people will always like to overeat. So I'd like to take a closer look at this new vocabulary in the fight against flab...and talk about the roles they really play in your ongoing efforts to lose weight.
