Acupuncture For Hay Fever

acupuncture-for-hay-fever_300
If you suffer with the sniffles, stuffy nose, painful sinuses and other discomforts from pollen allergies, research into the benefits of acupuncture show that this traditional therapy may offer a modicum of relief.
When scientists tested more than 400 people to see if acupuncture could help ease their hay fever symptoms, they found that treatment with acupuncture’s tiny needles did, indeed, offer measureable help. As a result, the people in the study who received acupuncture were less likely to have to use antihistamines to feel better.
The only catch to the findings: The benefits of acupuncture seemed to wear off fairly quickly. To keep feeling better, the scientists found, you have to keep having the therapy.
