The surprising power of a well-timed meal
Dear Reader,

When I say the words "circadian rhythm," the first thing that comes to mind is probably sleep.

And it's certainly true that circadian rhythms are responsible for regulating your body's sleep/wake cycles.

But scientists are just starting to learn how intricate the gears in your body's internal clock actually are. And some of their latest findings are pretty amazing.

For instance, recent research suggests you may actually be able to adjust your body's circadian rhythms with food. And well-timed meals may be the key to keeping your internal clock on track.

According to this new research, insulin release is the factor behind this effect. So what does that mean for you on a practical level? It means that you may be able to tackle insomnia simply by adjusting your eating schedule.

Eating three square meals a day, at regular intervals helps keep your insulin release on a steady schedule. And that, in turn, helps regulate your body's internal clock. Which should translate into less insomnia and more restful sleep.

As I've said before, lack of sleep and out-of-whack circadian rhythms can have catastrophic consequences for your health. So this kind of "clock adjustment" could be a very simple way to avoid a health disaster.
